Welcome Note from DEDI’s Director

I have the pleasure to present our new website along with a multi-media library that covers our projects. The website will have more information about the institute in the form of a full digital library that covers both our projects and Hiwar magazine.

DEDI is dedicated to recognizing the dignity of all cultures and people and to promoting mutual understanding and respect of the values, perspectives and experiences of others. Our experience tells us that dialogue makes such understanding possible. Dialogue for us is a tool and an aim – and the bridge we can cross to meet in the middle.

We will continue our long-term work on Danish-Egyptian and Arab-European dialogue and exchange of people and ideas. We are dedicated to developing expertise in intercultural dialogue and to contribute to the use of dialogue as a tool to promote constructive use of diversity.
