Danish Egyptian Youth Network Seminar

Twelve representatives from Egyptian political parties represented in the Egyptian Parliament left Cairo to Copenhagen on the 17th of November, 2017 to follow the Danish Municipal elections with their Danish counterparts.
Participants who are members of the Danish Egyptian Political Parties Youth Network were introduced to the Danish political regime and the role of the municipalities in this regime. Youth Network members organized a campaign to encourage inhabitants from Arabic roots to go and vote in the municipalities elections in Copenhagen and Aahurs. The Campaign was covered in the Danish media. Moreover, Network members participated in the electoral campaigns and followed the voting process. Finally, Network members from Egypt and Denmark had a dialogue in Helsingør on their observations on the elections and on the future of the Network. Egyptian Participants were back to Egypt on the 24th of November.
