BILINGUAL DESIGN: Danish Egyptian Furniture Presentation

Inspired by ancient Egyptian furniture design and key concepts of Scandinavian design, three young Egyptian designers and 21 students from The Royal Danish Academy have designed 13 stools. The stools were manufactured by Pinocchio Furniture in Damietta during a workshop in November 2021.
The presentation is curated by Nicolai de Gier and Andreas Lund, professors at The Royal Danish Academy, and Amr Orensa, design manager at Pinocchio Furniture. The project is supported by The Danish-Egyptian Dialogue Initiative.
