Tomorrow DEDI will be at Greenish Festival providing talks, workshops, and DJ performances.
DEDI is thrilled to be one of the sponsors of the Greenish Festival, promoting green practices through educational workshops and talks. DEDI will be participating with a DEDI Booth, where attendees can meet the DEDI staff, hear about current and future projects and have a chat.
DEDI will be coordinating a panel debate on “Youth Shaping the Sustainability Scene: From Aspiration to Ownership”, moderated by Rana Khamis, project manager at DEDI.
DEDI is proud to announce that the DEDI Green checklist, developed in cooperation with Greenish, will be launched during the festival. From 7 pm to 8:30 pm DEDI will host a workshop to discuss how to host a sustainable event using DEDI Green Checklist. In the spirit of sustainability, the checklist will be available only online here.
And of course, no festival without music. At 1 o’clock the self-taught DJ, Nada asherdy or “Nedz”, will perform her music, a mix of Hip Hop and RnB with African, Caribbean, and Egyptian sounds. Nada Asherdy was part of Future Female Sounds DJing workshop in October.

The DJ Masterclass will be taught by Zeina, who is working on building a place for female electronic musicians. At 8:15 pm, you can see her perform at Greenish Festival.
The festival is taking place at the Greek Campus in Cairo, from 1pm-10 pm.
