The Language of Photojournalism II: Portraiture
The Language of Photojournalism is a series of four workshops by DMJX (Danish School of Media and Journalism) held over a period of half a year in Cairo.
The participants will receive teaching and work on individual assignments during the workshops. Each participant will be asked to work on a major project in the nine weeks period in between the third and fourth workshop. The participants will receive coaching while they work on the final major project. After the fourth and final workshop, all stories by the students will be exhibited both on print and online. Participants who have participated in all workshops and handed in all assignments will receive a certificate from DMJX.
Workshop II: Portraiture with Mads Greve
During this workshop the participants will work on the journalistic portrait and how it can be used in visual story telling. The workshop will depend on citing several examples and the participants will work on day-to-day portrait assignments.
