Women Taking the Lead Network

Tomorrow Women Taking the Lead network will meet in Cairo for the first international meeting.  

Throughout four days they will, among other, discuss how to find a good work-life balance, share their experiences as women in male-dominated industries and get to know each other on a more personal level. The women are divided into pairs of two, one Egyptian and one Danish, so they can visit each other at home and share more personal experiences.  

Of course, there is also time for some sight-seeing: The women will visit the Pyramids together and enjoy a lovely dinner by the Nile, and they will listen to a talk on female leadership role in ancient Egypt at the civilization museum.  

These inspiring days will end Saturday evening with reflections, a closing dinner and a “see you soon”. The Cairo-ladies will travel to Copenhagen in November, where the networking will continue.
