What is the DEDI Green Incubator?

A program designed specifically for DEDI alumni

DEDI Green Incubator aims to help put early-stage startup companies on the road to becoming a successful, scalable, and growing venture. Through mentorship, workshops, and field visits in Denmark and Egypt, the program helps entrepreneurs gain valuable skills and knowledge, and identify potential partners and investors as well as connections to get their sustainable products into markets. The program targets sustainable fashion and furniture designers with common tracks and specific tracks for each field.

The program will identify promising startups and provide them with technical resources as well as pair them with relevant mentors. This is done through a combination of evaluation of applications and interviews. Next, the program will provide the selected startups with mentorship, technical resources, and access to networks. This would include overarching workshops on sustainability and circular economy, and other activities in Egypt and Denmark designed to help the startups grow and succeed in both areas of fashion and furniture designs.

Finally, one of the greatest benefits of participating in the program is the networking opportunities that DEDI provides. Through networking with other entrepreneurs and industry professionals in Egypt and Denmark, startups can gain vital connections that can help them in their journey towards success. It will provide an opportunity for startups to get their names out there and make vital connections that can open up doors for new opportunities.
