Scoping Study on the Independent Cultural and Creative Sector in Egypt

In order to support cultural and creative industries in Egypt and to obtain knowledge that may inform our work in the fields of arts and culture, DEDI has published a report containing knowledge about the the many cultural activities and initiatives found around the country – and the challenges they face.
The  “Scoping Study” covers theatre, film, heritage and music, the study (as one of a few) mainly focus on areas outside Cairo, that is, the cities of Alexandria, Aswan, Mansoura, Minya and Port Said.
