A Second visit to the furniture makers in Damietta

From the 10^th to the 13^th of January DEDI was visited by prof. Nicolai de Geir and prof. Andreas Lund from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen.
In order to promote our project focusing on the cooperation between Danish designers and design students and furniture makers in Egypt, the visit included a day in Damietta where 70% of all furniture in Egypt is produced, either in traditional workshops in the central Suq Abdel Rahman or in modern factories.
The visit also included meeting with designers and producers and a most inspiring visit to the Egyptian Museum.
