Shimaa Elwan

Administrative Officer

In September 2021, Ms. Shimaa Elwan joined DEDI as Administrative Officer. Her main responsibilities include working closely with the Head of Finance and Administration on human resources management, preparing internal and external meetings for DEDI’s projects and travel and visa arrangements for DEDI staff, participants and guests.

Prior to holding this position, Ms. Shimaa has held positions within HR, finance and administration at Snap 14 production company, Meeting Point of Civilizations NGO, Bulkwhiz Start-up in Dubai and as a customer service agent at the Arab African International Bank.

Ms. Shimaa received her Bachelor from Azhar University, Faculty of Commerce, in 2017 and holds a diploma in HR from the American University in Cairo.
