Retreating to SEKEM Ecolodge north of Cairo. 14 alumni of the CEFP-programme gathered this weekend to participate in a workshop. The serene and beautiful place was the perfect setting for a workshop on networks building and youth engagement. Experiences of efficient communication and of ways to mobilize communities were among the addressed topics. The participants have all pledged to form a core group that will facilitate the activities of the wider alumni network, starting by organizing the upcoming conference in the beginning of March where around 400 alumni are expected to participate. Hopefully, a comprehensive action plan for the alumni network will be launched during the conference along with our DEDICATION project: To have an eye on the environment in our daily work as well as in all DEDI activities and thus maximize our eco-friendliness. At the retreat, Bottonup provided notebooks made of recycled paper as well as ecofriendly bags
